As a tango teacher, dance event organizer, choreographer, and stage dancer, Leonardo has been active in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, and Greece for the past 30 years. He is currently teaching at the TANGO OCHO dance school in Stuttgart, offering dance classes and workshops. In his classes, Leonardo places great emphasis on the fine details that form a good dance connection between partners. In a relaxed class atmosphere, he provides tips and uses visual explanations to demonstrate how tango can be danced smoothly, effortlessly, yet intensely. For Leonardo, a strong tango dance foundation and body awareness are essential for a joyful dance experience. But, just as spices like salt and pepper enhance the flavor of food, a beautiful embrace and active interpretation of the music by both partners lead to an even more delightful dance experience.

Kanakis Nikolaos Ritzakis has been dealing with Tango since 2010. His main inspirers and teachers are Kostas Nikolaidis, a well known Tango dancer and teacher in Greece and the famous tango couple Sebastián Missé & Andrea Reyero, great teachers of Tango in Buenos Aires. In 2014 Kanakis founded the Elegancia del tango team, with the aim of imparting his knowledge and experiences to those who love and want to learn Tango.
About 43 years ago I tried my first dance steps and after about 20 years the Argentinean Tango crossed my way and in the meantime, I enjoyed the education as a tango teacher with Michael Domke and Gerrit Schlüter in Bremen, Germany. I have been living in Crete for about 13 years, teaching in social clubs and in my own studio. The tango became my dance because it allows me free dancing without moving in strict predetermined, standardized ways. A wise man once told me, it’s important to dance, whether it’s tango music or not. All you need to do is dancing!! I ended up for the tango.
Nikos Dalamagkas started tango in 1999. Eventually, he started teaching and DJ-ing in milongas and festivals. Among other tango travels, he had the opportunity to live 3 months in Buenos Aires where the daily occupation with tango there, consolidated his love, knowledge, and respect for tango. He participated as a dancer, choreographer, and director in 8 tango theatrical plays, and has danced in numerous events. In 2012 he founded in Heraklion Crete “TANGO SALON” where he teaches & organizes international tango events, like Sunny Tango Festival which takes place in Crete since 2010. He likes DJ-ing in milongas and events since 2009 with a sentimental point of view. He also enjoys teaching tango, something that he does continuously since 2002, and his main goal is to lead the students to find the heart of tango.
Ömer Cetin – tango dancer and teacher. Started to dance tango in 2012 during his travel through South America. He was introduced to tango by a friend in Buenos Aires and this changed his further plans. He decided to stay in the city and devoted the next month’s only to tango and studied with great teachers from DNI Tango school. Back in Munich he continued to develop his skills and naturally started to share his knowledge. He keeps on studying and continues to meet maestros to get new inspiration.
Aneta Orlik – tango dancer teacher and choreographer. In 2014 she graduated from Theatre Academy in Cracow at a Dance Theatre Department. She worked in several dance projects and shows with renowned theatre directors and choreographers. She co-created the theatre collective inter:ference together with Munich based artists. During one of her projects in Munich she was introduced to tango, which shortly after started to play an important role in her artistic life. In 2018 together with her former dance partner – Gianpio Cappucci she opened the tango school Volver in Cracow. Since summer 2019 she lives in Munich and continues her path.
My name is Flavia Cristaldo, born in La Boca / Buenos Aires, Argentina. For 19 years I have dedicated myself to the Tango Argentino, was trained by Gustavo Naveira, Chicho Frimboli, Lucia Mazer, Pablo and Dana, Guillermina Quiroga, Rodolfo Dinzel and many others. In well-known theaters of the city (Buenos internationals) I danced with the orchestras Sexteto Mayor, El Arranque, Color Tango and others. both in known milongas in which I also taught, Gricel, c.c. Torcato Tasso; La Ideal, La Nacional, Salon Caning .. At the age of six, I started with a long-time ballet education followed by flamenco, modern and contemporary dance. International I taught, danced and DJ in Luxemburg Sweden, Norway, Finland, Japan, Prague, Italy, Greece and Germany where I actually teach and live. My work is based on exploring the body, allowing the capacity of natural energy to flow and move. Tango as a synonym of expression with its advanced techniques shaped my education. The emergence of creativity as well as learn, dance, hear, feel and enjoy. Also, I want to dance, especially at Tango Argentino, respect each other and still let the leadership and be led, the dancers mediate. The leader makes an offer to the guided person but does not enforce it. It should be a dance together.

George’s interest in music, sound and D.J.ing goes back to a very young age. For many years he has been Dj at Tangoneon Heraklion in Crete (since 2004). He started dancing Tango in 2003. So he counts with many years of experience on the dancing floors and decks. It is impossible for him to separate his two big loves but he believes that in order to be a good Tango dancer you have to first love Tango music. His favorite music period is the Golden Age. Nevertheless he also finds the new tango orchestras interesting since they bring a fresh look to the music tradition of Tango.
For the past few years he has been living in Rethymno Crete where he is co-organizer of a weekly milonga every Friday and resident DJ. He also interested in Tango photography and travels abroad every year to make new tango friends at festivals.

Stavros started learning tango at 2009 in Crete. After he returned from Argentina he started TDJing and teaching in his local tango community where he founded his own dance school. Since then either locally or abroad he never stopped searching for better ways to evolve his style, in order to make happy dancers His main goals as a teacher is to help the student understand his/her body and be aware of it and have deep knowledge in the movement they choose to express. As a TDj he always likes to see happy faces, empty seats, a full dance floor, feet moving and energy rising to the top!

Dimitris is from Crete, Greece. A year ago he moved to Poland and lives in Opole. Two years after his first tango lesson, being inspired by the magical world of tango music, especially the orchestras of the golden age, he starts Djing. For him, every tanda is a journey full of sensations, and milonga an adventure. And that’s how it plays. Tandas with passion and power, harmony and rhythm … As Dimitris likes to say … “I like to give dancers brushes and colors so that they can paint the floor with their heart and soul” He loves the orchestras of Anibal Troilo, Juan D ‘Arienzo, Carlos Di Sarli, Ricardo Tanturi, Pedro Laurenz, Miguel Calo and Osvaldo Pugliese. He djied at milongas all over Crete, in Athens, Wrocław, Brzeg, Toruń, Łódź, Zabrze, Katowice, Pszów, regularly in Opole and at international events Lesbos Tango Marathon, Alegria Festival in Brzeg and Royal Tango Marathon in Moszna.

Lena Kanellou was initially drawn to tango because of the dance, but soon, fell profoundly in love with the soulful music and poignant lyrics. In her tango journey, she was fortunate to fulfil her long-held dream of creating the musical mood of the dancefloor herself, as she started playing music in milongas of her hometown Heraklion.
She finds Golden Era music to be very conducive to a beautiful dancefloor experience and she loves coming up with tandas that, apart from a musical, also follow a conceptual theme in their poetry. Over the course of an evening, she goes for a balanced mix of lyricism and rhythmicality and she enjoys adapting attentively to the reaction of the dancers and having the feeling of dancing with everyone on the floor.

He has been dancing for years and right from the very start of his tango journey, he was interested in the history of tango, the lyrics, the music and the tango-orchestras. He has translated more than 150 tango lyrics and has been given several talks on tango music and history of tango orchestras. Manolis has been DJing around Creta for a couple of years in local and international events and milongas. He loves tangos from “Golden era” but also appreciates the modern qualitative orchestras with new expression for our time. His target is to see people furious to dance and to catch the smiles and satisfactions in the dancers’ faces after each tanda.

Dancer, choreographer & Tango teacher for over 20 years!
She has studied with various Maestros of different styles and she travels regularly to Buenos Aires in order to perfect her technique and be inspired. Since 2013 she has been working together with Ciccio Aiello from Italy and travels the world teaching and performing. She has worked in various festivals around the globe (e.c CITA in Bs. As., the Sao Paolo Tango Festival in Brazil, the International Tango Summit in Los Angeles/USA, etc) and she has performed in many milongas in Europe, USA, Buenos Aires & Turkey.
She lived in Heidelberg for many years where she also taught tango. Since 2008 she moved to her homeland, Crete, where she helped build the local scene. She has been teaching tango for 20 years now, in her Association “TangoCultural” in Rethymno & Heraklion, she holds regularly Workshops & Milongas with invited guest maestros, offers tango trips to Crete and organizes intensive Seminars (with Mariano Chicho Frumboli & Javier Rodriguez-Moira Castellano) for advanced dancers & professionals.
Her biggest pride, though, is the International Tango Festival of Crete “A LOS AMIGOS”, that she has been organizing with a big success over the last 7 years (www.a-los-amigos.com).
The solid Technique, the functionality of the dance for both roles and the great musical interpretation are the central points in her teaching. Her most important teachers are always her students!
